Paint Correction FAQs
What's the difference between one-step and two-step?
A one-step correction uses a single polishing stage to remove light swirls and restore gloss. A two-step adds a cutting/compounding stage before polishing to tackle moderate to heavy defects, scratches, and oxidation for a deeper, near-flawless finish.
Will correction remove every scratch?
Correction removes defects within the clear coat, which covers the vast majority of swirls and light-to-moderate scratches. Very deep scratches that have gone through the clear coat can be greatly improved but may not fully disappear. We'll assess your paint and set clear expectations.
Should I get a ceramic coating after correction?
We highly recommend it. Correction creates a flawless surface; a ceramic coating then protects that finish for years. Our bundle packages combine both for the best long-term result.
Can paint correction be done mobile?
Yes. We perform correction on-site in Mullica Hill and Gloucester County. We'll need adequate space, lighting, and time to do the job right.
